NEW ID FOR SPECIALIST LOCAL SCHOOL
After successfully winning the pitch to provide an identity and branding for this new specialist school based in Poole, Dorset, we embarked on designing three concepts, one of which was chosen as the new identity of The Quay School. As well as providing artwork and brand guidelines for the identity, we are currently working alongside the school and a team of architects to provide the design and installation of a sign which will be fixed to the side of the building. In addition to this, we have also provided branded stationery such as letterheads and compliment slips in an electronic format.

REVOLTING BRING THE LORD OF THE UNDEAD TO WEYMOUTH
As part of the b-side multimedia festival in Weymouth and Portland, (which took place from the 17th to the 26th of September) we worked with our local film society Film Dock to present a FREE guerilla outdoor screening of the 1921 silent classic NOSFERATU which was accompanied by improvised soundtrack and DJ interventions by Alan Rogers.
The screening was a huge success, attended by nearly 200 people. There was an amazing atmosphere with some ingenious music that completely transformed and revitalised a movie that is nearly a century old. Watch this space for news of future Film Dock events in partnership with Revolting.

DEADLINE DELIVERY
We recently organised and art directed a shoot on behalf of the International Baccalaureate (the international examination board) for a publication they were having produced in the United States. There was a very tight schedule to get this project completed. We rose to the challenge and managed to cast nine models to a very specific criteria, source a suitable school location and compile a crew of stylists and assistants within four days of being briefed. Our Creative Director, Ross Cleaver art directed Photographer Andy Whale to capture a range of different scenarios in an intense yet exciting day long shoot.

WE ARE THE MODS
Our Creative Director, Ross Cleaver along with his writing partner James Randall, are currently putting the finishing touches to a screenplay for “Modrapheniacs” a dramadoc tracing the lives of a gang of friends who formed a scooter club in the late 1970’s. The film is to be directed by Charlotte Loving and produced and shot by Andy Whale. It is due to be completed later this year. In the meantime here is a teaser poster we have produced featuring the main protagonists.

Both Ross and Charlie have entered Hugo Create’s visual mixtape competition. We each selected a random playlist and designed the cover art based on the selection of tracks chosen.

CREATIVE DELIVERED FOR LIVERPOOL CONFERENCE
When we were asked to provide all the creative elements for the International Baccalaureate Conference, we were prepared for several incredibly busy but also creatively fulfilling months ahead of us. Frequent communication between all parties involved ensured that each element was completed and delivered in plenty of time. We had the pleasure of working alongside some new and extremely competent people in Liverpool where the conference was based, which ensured smooth delivery from artwork being approved in Geneva to production in Liverpool all without leaving the comfort of the studio. We also had great support from one of our regular production companies, based locally who provided a crucial element of production. From design of the initial logo and identity, we went on to create many various elements for the conference. These ranged from a detailed 60 page programme and schedule of events which we then, with the help of IB staff, translated into two other languages, down to signs to be placed in the delegate transportation. Not forgetting other vital conference paraphernalia such as various banners, floor and window graphics and individually named identity cards amongst others on the way, which were all branded with the conference identity. All in all, it was an incredibly satisfying project to work on, not just creatively, but also on a level which has provided us with invaluable experience and new relationships from which we can use to provide creative expertise for the IB and all of our other valued clients for many years to come.

We have uploaded all three language versions of the programme to Issuu.com, for you to browse anytime.
