NEON PLAY’S FIRST IPHONE GAME REACHES TOP 10
Top 10 in all UK apps
In the two weeks since the game launched, Flick Football has reached the Top 10 in all UK paid and free apps. They were the only UK-based games studio with a game in the Top 10, with EA Sports taking most of the top places, along with the infamous Doodle Jump and Angry Birds. Since the original Flick Football version launched, Neon Play has also launched a free Flick Football Lite version, which is proving very popular all around the world with tens of thousands of downloads a day. The Lite version is currently in the Top 10 free apps in the UK.
Also, Neon Play has created a universal iPad version. This means that if you buy the 59p iPhone/iPod version, you get it free for your iPad – the layout is just slightly different.
The game has also had international success reaching the Top 5 Sports Games in the USA, Number 3 in all German paid apps and Number 1 in Uruguay in all apps. Flick Football has even outsold Angry Birds in certain countries.
