In addition to employment the Advanced Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media also includes a qualification.
This leaves the apprentice with a broader understanding of the industry in which they are working as well as a recognised qualification. This element is run by a training provider who will work with both apprentice and employer(s) to tailor it to the needs of the company and apprentice.
Like the larger competence-based “on the job” component of the scheme, the knowledge “training” element is highly flexible both in terms of the areas of study and the manner in which this is fitted around employment.
